Athletic physical forms are available outside the Athletic Office, in the main office and on the school’s website. 

 

To participate in athletics, you and your parent must be registered in Finalforms (https://nashrockymount-nc.finalforms.com/), passed 3 out of 4 courses from last semester and have an updated physical on file.

 

Important items:

Go to our school’s website, digital sports: www.digitalsports.com or Maxpreps: www.maxpreps.com  to get schedules, rosters and results. You can also click on the away games (digital sports), and it will connect you to map quest for directions.  There is a section where you can put your email address so that the system can notify you of any cancellations.

Winter Sports Try-outs will begin on Oct. 30th.  You must be registered in Finalforms, meet the academic standards and have a physical on file in the Athletic Office.

 

Friday (Oct. 20)

  • V. Football defeated Franklinton. 
  • NCHSAA Tennis Individual results: Maddie Girouard and Lauren Tedford were defeated in the 2nd round.  McKinley Battle advanced the championship round.

 

Saturday (Oct. 21)

  • Cheerleaders finished in 4th place at the Clayton High Pre-State Invitationals.
  • NCHSAA Tennis Individual Tennis Regionals Championship results:  Congratulations to McKinley Battle, she is the Eastern Region Champion!  She will compete in the NCHSAA State Championship on Friday.

 

Monday (Oct. 23)

  • Soccer will travel to Franklinton. Game time: 6 pm.
  • Tennis will host Cedar Ridge in the 2nd round of the NCHSAA Dual playoffs. Match time: 3:30 pm.

 

Tuesday (Oct. 24)

  • Swim interest meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 24 after school in the cafeteria.

 

Wednesday (Oct. 25)

  • Wrestling skinfold and dehydration test will be held in the training room at 2:45 pm.
  • 3rd  round of the NCHSAA Dual playoffs. Match time: 3:30 pm.
  • Soccer will travel to Northern Nash. Game time: 6 pm.

 

Thursday (Oct. 19)

  • JV Football will host Northern Nash. Game time: 6:30 pm.
