The ECPS and NCPS Demerger/Transition Plan Team convened on Monday, October 16, for a joint meeting. They delivered presentations to the Nash County Public Schools Board of Education, Nash County Board of Commissioners, Edgecombe County Public Schools Board of Education, and Edgecombe County Board of Commissioners during the meeting. The submission of the transition plan to the state is scheduled for November 15.

For those of you who have a Kindergartner enrolled at Williford, please do not forget to provide the student's NC Health Assessment form that is a requirement for all Kindergarteners. If you have already provided the form thank you, if you have not, please contact Nurse Cummings for details if you have not already done so. Nurse Cummings has also provided Health Assessment forms for those who have not provided a Health Assessment form to date. The form has to be completed by both the doctor and parent.
